You would be able to have them tested to establish paternity. If there are no siblings to test then grandparents will also work since there will be genes in common between the parents and the father in question.
If both grandparents are available for testing, the results can be determined with more accuracy, in fact, the DNA profile of the deceased can be recreated with both grandparents being tested. However, if only one grandparent is available for testing, then an uncle or an aunt will be a better choice.
